"On the other side of fear lies freedom." Hellen Keller once said that "life is either a daring adventure, or nothing". As such, I dare to live consciously. Traveling the world. Dancing. Painting. Playing music. Having incredible experiences. Meditating. Growing through learning. I understand 3 languages and speak 5, three of which are self-learned. Every day, I try to do something new or intimidating. It could be anything from delivering a speech to rock climbing in a foreign country. I care less and less about what people think of me, and try to hold no opinions on others, because it's freeing. Whatever doesn't work in my life, I let it go, rather than resist it. Instead, I focus my thoughts on the incredible experiences I've had, the diverse and different people in my life, love, and the gratitude of a life truly lived. I am not defined or limited by anything - i.e. my education, interests, background, etc. I have no labels. I've learned that I can accomplish anything I put my mind towards. I left the tribe a long time ago. People who know me either think I'm a free spirit or out of touch with reality. That's great. Travel! Have you ever: Swam with pink river dolphins in the Amazon? Slept in a cave hotel? Raced elephants on a motorcycle? Biked down the world's most dangerous road? Seen the art of the Masters? Got lost in a medieval city? Seen the sun rise over Machu Picchu? The list goes on and on. But seriously, travel. You won't regret it. Seeing the world and how much I have relatively makes me really grateful for the opportunities I have as I surge forward. Don't waste your life living it up to someone else's standards. Live each day as if it were your last!
